The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona have moved forward with a fresh appeal, to allow for the respective player registrations of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have on Tuesday provided the latest on the situation.
The respective names of summer signings Olmo and Víctor have of course taken their place front and centre in the media headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the course of the last week.
This comes as Barcelona’s efforts to register the pair for the remainder of the campaign continue to come up short.
After seeing their appeals rejected by both La Liga and the RFEF, the Blaugrana have now been forced to head down the legal route, through the courts.
And, as per MD, on Tuesday, Joan Laporta and co. have moved forward with precisely as much:
‘The CSD has already received the appeal from FC Barcelona. Early this morning the Barcelona team received its letter to obtain the precautionary measure as the last remaining sporting avenue to obtain the precautionary measure from FC Barcelona for Dani Olmo and Pau Victor to be registered again as FC Barcelona players.’
The final decision is now in the hands of José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes, Secretary of State for Sport and president of the CSD.
