La Liga champions Barcelona are all set to part with an up-and-coming member of the club’s defensive ranks over the days ahead.
That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Sergi Domínguez as the player in question.
The name of stopper Domínguez will of course be a familiar one to regular viewers of Barcelona.
This comes with the 20-year-old having been a regular in the club’s first-team setup this past season, on his way to five total appearances across all competitions.
Domínguez’s efforts across these outings, though, evidently didn’t prove enough to convince Hansi Flick and his staff of the Spaniard’s readiness to be a regular contributor moving forward.
This comes amid confirmation that Domínguez is on the verge of an imminent Blaugrana exit.
As per a report from Fabrizio Romano, citing fellow journalist Matteo Moretto:
‘Sergi Domínguez from Barcelona to Dinamo Zagreb, deal done and sealed today. Permanent transfer for €1.2m fixed fee plus 20% sell-on clause and Barça will have priority in case of future sale.’
