Kean has missed the last two Serie A games for personal reasons, but returned to group training earlier this week and is tipped to start up front alongside Gudmundsson.

Andrea Colpani has returned from an injury and will start on the bench, while Fabiano Parisi is favourite over Michael Folorunsho for the right wing-back position.

Pietro Comuzzo returns to the centre of Fiorentina’s defence replacing the unavailable Mari.

Real Betis forward Cédric Bakambu has recovered from a minor injury and, according to Sky Sport Italia, he’ll start up front for the La Liga side.

What Palladino said

“Kean returned yesterday [Tuesday], he trained, I talked to him, he is calm and fired up to play,” Palladino told Sky Sport Italia.

“Obviously, I have to consider many elements, as he was away for a week, but he returned with great hunger. We have a very important game tomorrow, but also Roma and then the second leg next week.

“The squad is doing well, we are fired up and highly motivated to put in a great performance tomorrow evening.”
