Having failed in their bid to sign Eric Garcia this month, Serie A newbies Como appear set to sign a different Barcelona player in the final days of the transfer window.
Indeed, according to Fabrizio Romano, Como, managed by ex-Barça star Cesc Fabregas, have reached a verbal agreement to take Alex Valle on loan for the rest of the season.
Alex Valle left Barcelona on loan in the summer, signing for Scottish giants Celtic, where he has been performing well.
So far in his stint in Glasgow, the 20-year-old left-back has made 19 appearances in all competitions even registering five assists in the process.
However, with Celtic working on re-signing Kieran Tierney from Arsenal in the current window, his position had become uncertain.

Como had expressed an interest in taking Valle on loan and had even received the green light from Barcelona for the same but had to wait for Celtic to give their approval.
But it appears that everything has been sorted, with a verbal agreement now in place for the La Masia talent to move to Italy.
The report states that the deal is good as done, with his loan agreement at Celtic set to be broken and medicals scheduled before the transfer is completed.
It is further stated that the Italians have a €6 million buy clause for the youngster, whose contract at Barcelona expires in 2026.
Valle has never made an official first-team appearance for the Blaugrana, although he was a part of Hansi Flick’s pre-season plans last summer. Whether he returns to the club next summer or secures a permanent move will be interesting to see.
