Jack Grealish has sent a clear transfer message to one of Manchester City’s primary targets for the upcoming summer transfer window.

The Premier League champions are expected to have one of their busiest markets of the Pep Guardiola era to date across the course of the coming months, with a number of major arrivals and departures anticipated at the Etihad Stadium.

In the signings department, Manchester City officials are clear in what they feel the club’s first-team squad requires to continue to challenge on all fronts across the coming seasons, with a midfielder among the main positions to be addressed.

While Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva continue to mull over their own personal City futures, officials within the Etihad Stadium have felt it necessary to draw up a list of potential targets, with Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham the number one option on that shortlist.

Now, City’s Jack Grealish has sent a very clear transfer message to his England international teammate and fellow Brummie, responding to the Borussia Dortmund midfielder on an Instagram post.

The 19 year-old had initially left a comment under Manchester City centre-back Manuel Akanji’s most recent Instagram post, tagging teammate Gio Reyna with the comment, “He’s changed,” and a ‘shocked’ emoji.

That led to City’s Grealish responding with a very clear and simple, “Come to City,” followed by ‘xx’.

This interaction has led to a frenzy on social media, with plenty of Manchester City supporters demanding that Jack Grealish’s request comes true this summer, in a deal that many within the game expect to exceed the £100 million mark by some distance.

One Twitter user responded, “Jack Grealish would not have said, “Come to City” publicly on Instagram unless he knows Bellingham to City is in the works.”

The latest development in the Jude Bellingham saga on Thursday suggested that Manchester United had now joined the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Real Madrid in the race for the English star, while his current employers are likely to demand a transfer fee of around €125 million.
