Huddersfield Town head to Oakwell this weekend looking to add to Barnsley’s woes in the Championship.

The Tykes are struggling and facing a real fight to survive relegation in 2021/22, whilst Carlos Corberan’s Town side have enjoyed a much more positive start to the season, despite a recent drop off.

Back-to-back defeats have left Huddersfield cut adrift of the play-offs slightly, yet there’s few more presentable fixtures than Barnsley to return to winning ways.

As our graphic below shows, too, Huddersfield are almost at full strength:

Lee Nicholls will continue in goal, whilst Matty Pearson shaking off a back injury means that Corberan could have his first choice defensive trio available – Tom Lees featuring centrally and Levi Colwill returning on the left.

Harry Toffolo and Sorba Thomas will provide width from wing-back, whilst Lewis O’Brien and Scott High play in midfield, as the latter continues to deputise for Jonathan Hogg and Alex Vallejo.

In attack, Danny Ward will be expected to lead the line, whilst Josh Koroma and Danel Sinani supporting him gives Huddersfield a touch more goal threat in the final third.
