The Colorado Rapids are reportedly set to sign Rafael Navarro on a permanent basis from Brazilian giants Palmeiras, according to the Denver Post.
The forward’s one-year loan-deal with the club is set to expire this week, but he will remain a Rapid for the foreseeable future.
Navarro will reportedly put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him in Colorado through the 2027 season.
The deal will serve as a major boost for Chris Armas’ side, who have found themselves in fourth place in the Western Conference after 20 games in MLS.
The forward has chipped in with 11 goals, good enough for sixth in the MLS scoring charts, and an assist so far this season.
