Colombia fan Jose Richard Gallego grew up watching and loving football, but after contracting a disease at the age of nine, he tragically went both blind and deaf.

For some, that would mean losing the pleasure of watching your favourite sport, however, that’s not the case for Jose.

As this brilliant video from Sky News shows, Jose’s friend Cesar has devised a miniature pitch and a set of hand signals which means that they can both enjoy games on television in real time.

So Jose didn’t need to miss out on his country’s amazing 3-0 win over Poland at the weekend.
