Colo Colo will not sell Pablo Solari to América despite $4m offer

Despite making an offer of $4m for young Argentine winger Pablo Solari, Colo Colo have reportedly decided not to sell the player to Club América.

The Eagles were even set to triple the player’s salary but the Chilean giants will not entertain the bid.

This is because Colo Colo will be playing in the 2022 Copa Libertadores group stage and the club believes that the 20-year-old, widely regarded as one of their best players, can help the club earn results and, therefore, earn bonuses from the competition.

In addition, they believe having him play on international television will drive his value through the roof, should he perform up to his high expectations.

So, it appears that América’s search for a young right-winger will continue as they also failed to sign Brian Ocampo as he asked for $4m despite being a free agent.
