Frank Lampard will probably opt for a 4-3-3 formation and could make one change to his first team for this game. Seamus Coleman will play from the start in the injury absence of Nathan Patterson who recently picked up an ankle problem.

Asmir Begovic will function in goal for the Merseyside club after he kept a clean sheet versus the Hammers in his last league appearance. Seamus Coleman will function at right-back while Vitaliy Mykolenko hopes to give a good account of himself as the left-back. Both of them need to be at their best so that they can restrict the opposition from creating too many chances out on the wide areas.
