Cole Palmer responds to injury fears with beautiful training ground moment | OneFootball

Chelsea have made a lot of signing in recent seasons, but that doesn’t stop fans getting excited from seeing new faces in action. Joao Felix isn’t even a new face really – he played here not long ago. He had his first training session with the team today, and it looked like everyone else stepped up the level to welcome him back.

Cole Palmer – who else – scored the nicest goal from the shooting section, clipping a left footed chip into the side netting, leaving Robert Sanchez absolutely rooted despite not putting any power in it. It was so insouciant, so Palmer. That snap of the left ankle to wrap the ball away with minimal backlift didn’t look like the motion of an injured player. We’ll take it as confirmation he will be ready for tomorrow.
