Born in Manchester but made in Chelsea, Cole Palmer is continuing to enjoy the season of his life.
The 21-year-old has been the standout performer during a dismal season at Stamford Bridge and continues to break record after record.
His latest came after opening the scoring in Monday’s Premier League encounter with Everton with a sublime 13th-minute opener.
Palmer nutmegged Toffees’ defender Jarrad Branthwaite before playing a neat one-two with Nicolas Jackson and firing a low effort from 20 yards out.
That solo effort added another feather to the England international’s cap as the first Blues player to score in seven straight Premier League outings on home soil.
He added a second just five minutes later before completing back-to-back hattricks at the Bridge and slotting a penalty to compound the misery for Sean Dyche’s side.
Home really is where the heart is.
