Cole Palmer has had a season to remember in his first year at Chelsea and has now joined one of the more exclusive clubs in Premier League history.

Palmer’s assist for Mikhailo Mudryk’s opener at the City Ground was his 10th of the season, to go with the 21 goals he has also scored.

This makes him just the 14th player in the post-1992 era to have 20+ goals and 10+ assists in a single campaign.

He joins illustrious names like Thierry Henry, Luis Suárez, Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard, Andy Cole and Alan Shearer on that list – the latter two co-hold the record with 47 goals contributions in a season.

In more recent times, the former Manchester City man is only the fourth to hit such tallies in the last 10 years, after Mohamed Salah (x2), Harry Kane and Alexis Sánchez.
