Well, Cole Palmer believes we might have and that this could be the turning point needed for Chelsea to start climbing back up the table from their current 14th position.

The Blues beat Brighton 1-0 in the third round of the Carabao Cup last night and although they weren’t great the entire game, they worked hard and probably deserved the win overall just about.

As we know, Brighton are a very good team and they are certainly not easy to beat, and Chelsea going through the moment they are going through right now, did very well to win last night.

Cole Palmer was one of the better Chelsea players on the night and he helped create the only and winning goal.

He was speaking to the Chelsea website after the game and said: “That’s a big win for us. I think it’s somewhat of a relief, especially off the back of some poor results, to get the victory.

“We’ve shown tonight, against a very good side, what we are all about and we just need to build on this performance now and hopefully get some more wins.

“It was a big night for me personally. Coming in for my first start, to get an assist and help the team win an important game, it feels amazing.”
