The new EFL season kicked off this weekend with a rare piece of history.
Saturdayâs League Two opener between Colchester United and Swindon Town fell foul of the unpredictable English weather.

Unplayable conditions at the Colchester Community Stadium put paid to the planned meeting between the sides.
It marked the first time in the leagueâs history that an opening day fixture has been called off as a result of a waterlogged pitch.
There really is no such thing as perfect conditions in the English summer!
