FLW takes a look at seven Portsmouth players who will leave Fratton Park at the end of the season if nothing changes.

Portsmouth were fairly active during the summer transfer window but now that the deadline has passed, John Mousinho may be thinking about which players are due to be out of contract next year.

Pompey brought in several new signings over the summer, including Harvey Blair from Liverpool, Abdoulaye Kamara from Borussia Dortmund, and Matt Ritchie following his departure from Newcastle United, to strengthen the squad for their first season back in the Championship.

John Mousinho's side have made a steady start to the new campaign, despite being yet to win a game, having picked up three respectable draws from four league games against sides who will be hoping to mount a promotion push this season.

Now, the Pompey boss may look ahead and see which players' contracts are set to expire at the end of the season.

Loanees Sam Silvera, Freddie Potts, and Mark Mahoney will leave Fratton Park at the end of their season-long spells at the club, but let's take a look at seven permanently contracted players who will leave the club in 2025 if nothing changes, according to Transfermark.

Colby Bishop

Striker Colby Bishop scored 21 goals during Portsmouth's League One title-winning campaign last term, but his contract is set to expire in 2025.

Bishop, who has never played in the second tier, is currently recovering from a heart surgery procedure, so he has not featured for the Blues yet this season.

Pompey have the option to extend his contract by a year while sporting director Richard Hughes has revealed there are plans to tie him down with a new contract.

Regan Poole

Regan Poole is another Portsmouth player who is currently unavailable and due to be out of contract next summer.

The centre-back has been ruled out of action since he suffered an ACL injury last year but he was reportedly set to play a friendly to ease him back in during the international break.

The 26-year-old made a promising start to his Pompey career last season before the injury but his deal is set to run out in 2025.

Kusini Yengi

Australian striker Kusini Yengi helped Portsmouth achieve promotion to the Championship during his first season in English football, with nine goals in League One and notable performances against Bolton Wanderers and Burton Albion.

Yengi's contract is set to expire next summer, although the club have an option to extend his deal by an extra year.

Hughes has suggested that Pompey are targetting a new deal for the forward.

Andre Dozzell

Portsmouth signed midfielder Andre Dozzell on a free transfer this summer following his departure from Queens Park Rangers.

The 25-year-old agreed a one-year deal with the club option of a further year, so he is due to leave the club in 2025 unless Pompey take action at some point over the course of the campaign.

Zak Swanson

Zak Swanson signed a new contract at Fratton Park during the summer, having made 12 league appearances as Portsmouth won the title in the third tier last season.

His new deal will keep him at the club until next year unless the club take up their option to extend his contract by a further year.

Tom Lowery

Tom Lowery has been at Portsmouth since he joined the club from Crewe Alexandra on a three-year contract in 2022.

The midfielder has featured in a few positions for Pompey under Mousinho, but he will leave the club next year unless he agrees to fresh terms, which seems unlikely as the club were open to letting him leave this summer.

Ben Stevenson

Midfielder Ben Stevenson has only made five league appearances for Portsmouth since signing for the club in 2023.

He is another player that Pompey were reportedly open to offloading during the latest transfer window, although he did come off the bench during the Blues' Championship clash with Luton Town.

The Fratton Park club have a one-year option but unless they trigger it, he will leave next summer upon the expiry of his contract.
