Press reports have revealed that Moroccan giants Club Omnisports de Meknès are very interested in signing the talented 21-year-old Marius Mbou Exaucé, and the deal is expected to be completed soon. Initial reports indicate that the player has been offered a four-year contract by the Moroccan club.
After a standout season with Göçmenköy İSK, a second-division Cypriot club, Mbo Ekoussi emerged as one of the team’s top performers. Despite playing as a midfielder, he netted an impressive ten goals, catching the attention of talent scouts across North Africa.
Now, Mouloudia Club de Meknès, freshly promoted to Morocco’s top-tier professional league, is setting ambitious goals for the upcoming season. Their vision is clear: to establish themselves as a competitive force and secure a continental spot. With the signing of Mbo Ekoussi, the club continues its strategy of bolstering the squad with promising young talents.
The Congolese midfielder’s arrival aligns with the club’s deliberate recruitment policy, which prioritizes youth and competitiveness. Ekoussi will make history as the first Congolese player to wear the colors of Olympiacos de São Paulo’s modern era, and he could very well become one of the season’s biggest surprises.
