Rolando Inostroza owned Coachella Football Club as well as Coachella Soccer Club, however, a dispute over team trademarks caused a fracture within the previous organization.

This dispute led to Inostroza deciding to return to USL League Two in 2025 under a rebranded franchise.

The owner envisions a future where his club can make it to Major League Soccer and hopes this moment can relaunch that dream.

A club with the name Coachella Football Club featuring the old logo will compete in UPSL under different ownership.
