AC Milan know that they must boost the quality in the attacking department and the management have a ‘gift’ ready for Stefano Pioli, a report claims.
Noa Lang won the Jupiler Pro League for the second consecutive season with Club Brugge having amassed 9 goals and 15 assists in the process, which had led to suggestions that he might look for a bigger challenge ahead of next season.
According to Calciomercato.it, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have accelerated their attempts to try and strike a deal for the 22-year-old Dutchman by scheduling a meeting with the his agent.
Considering the difficulties in getting Marco Asensio from Real Madrid, it seems that they have decided to focus on Lang even if he is under contract until June 2025 and will have the chance to play with Brugge in the Champions League again next season.
The belief is that an agreement could be found at around €25m in transfer fee and then terms could be agreed at €3m net per season, which would take the total investment to €40m (excluding tax) if we presume it would be a five-year contract.
