Hellas Verona have stated that they want €5m for Alphadjo Cisse who is one of the most exciting youngsters in Italian football right now, but Giorgio Furlani is leading the negotiations.
As reported by Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri are very keen to add the talented teenager to the squad as soon as possible but it could take €5m, a not inconsiderable amount of money for someone that wouldn’t go straight into the first team.
The 2006-born player was actually handed his Serie A debut last season, showing the faith that Verona have in him. He is an attacking midfielder with a lot of technical ability and he has attracted interest from every big club in Serie A.
Milan and Atalanta are the teams most interested in Cisse and Milan even made an attempt in January. Direct contact has now opened up between Verona and Furlani and that is how the figure of €5m has appeared.
There is a chance that Milan try to use a youngster of their own, Marco Nasti, as part of the deal in order to part with less or no cash.
Milan will hope that being able to offer Serie C football with Milan Futuro makes deals like this easier to complete.
