Juventus now seemed to be resigned to losing Adrien Rabiot but the salary demands have also scared off AC Milan, according to a report.

According to Calciomercato.com, Juve have decided that they are no longer willing to wait for an answer from Rabiot and this was shown by the fact that they accelerated to close the deal for Khephren Thuram with OGC Nice.

The Bianconeri’s offer to Rabiot was €7m net per season plus €1m in bonuses, but the demands of his mother-agent Veronique are currently higher, close to €9m net per season. Those requests have seen Milan take a step back too.

There was an exploratory survey, but the discussion did not progress. Geoffrey Moncada sensed the possibility to sign the Frenchman on a free and he greatly appreciates the technical qualities and leadership that the midfielder could bring.

However, a real negotiation never really started between the parties because the economic demands are considered too high for the parameters of Milan, who could go up to €7m per year at most and no more.

Rabiot now dreams of winning the European Championship with France and then joining Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid. Newcastle and Liverpool have already made moves, but he has given his preference 100% to Los Blancos.
