Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s absence from AC Milan might not be a long one, after a meeting with owner Gerry Cardinale over a return generated positive signs.

According to Calciomercato.com, Ibrahimovic and Milan could be heading for a ‘third act’. Cardinale re-iterated his desire to have him back at the club during a meeting held last week in Milano before the Newcastle game.

Meanwhile, for Zlatan, Milan represents his footballing family. It is a strong strong bond that will still remain regardless considering that his children play in the Rossoneri’s youth sector. It is precisely this aspect that must be taken into great consideration in the dynamics of Ibrahimovic’s future.

Cardinale and Ibrahimovic are similar in many aspects. Both have only success in mind and every action has the aim of always improving themselves, and it is thus no surprise that the dialogue between the two was positive.
