AC Milan will soon have Fikayo Tomori back in the team which will be a major boost for the rest of the season, with his return potentially coming in a very big game.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, the English central defender should be back available for selection before the Serie A match against Lazio on Friday, March 1.

That is Milan’s next match and it is a big one in the race for the top four. Whilst Milan should not have any major issues ensuring they stay in the top four and qualify for the Champions League, any victory against one of the teams battling for fourth is very important and Lazio fall into the bracket.

Tomori returned to group training on Friday last week but the match against Atalanta came too soon for the former Chelsea man.

He is set to train with the rest of the team on Tuesday and start working towards some minutes against Lazio on Friday.

If it turns out that he cannot face the Biancocelesti, then the Europa League last 16 first leg against Slavia Prague will be a very real possibility.

He has been out of action since December 22 when he limped off against Salernitana, so he may need time to get back up to speed.
