Tiemoue Bakayoko is no longer a part of AC Milan’s future plans and work is underway to find him a new club before the window closes. However, the situation is not easy for the Rossoneri, as a report highlights.

The Frenchman arrived on a two-year loan deal from Chelsea last summer but he failed to impress Stefano Pioli last season. Things didn’t get any better in the pre-season and Milan are now working on finding him a new club.

According to Calciomercato.com, Chelsea are willing to cut the loan short but they will only do so if another club is ready to sign Bakayoko. Nottingham Forest expressed their interest recently but are not reflecting, having just signed Freuler from Atalanta and Kouyaté from Crystal Palace.

Furthermore, the newly-promoted Premier League side is in talks with other targets and could thus abandon the Bakayoko track. This would obviously be negative for Milan, who would then have to turn to other potential suitors such as Galatasaray.
