CM: Milan and Fiorentina receive positive scouting reports on Boca Juniors ace | OneFootball

AC Milan and Fiorentina have both got their eyes on Boca Juniors midfielder Ezequiel Fernández in view of the summer transfer window, according to a report.

According to what is being reported by Calciomercato.com, Milan and Fiorentina have their eyes on Fernandez because both clubs are looking to sign a deeper-lying midfielder ahead of the 2024-25 season.

Fiorentina are not expected to be able to keep Arthur despite the fact that he has done well thanks to the work of Vincenzo Italiano and the trust of the club. The high cost of the possible permanent deal and the strong interest of Benfica make things difficult for them.

This is where Ezequiel Fernández comes in. Scouts appointed by Italian clubs are often stationed in La Bombonera to follow him closely and Milan have received positive reports in recent months, knowing that they could do with a more defensive midfielder to balane the current department.

Fiorentina have not started negotiations for Fernandez yet but the player is very attached to Boca Juniors and would like to stay in Argentina for at least another season. However, the charm of Serie A could make him change his mind, especially if a big club were to come knocking.
