AC Milan striker Lorenzo Colombo is attracting interest from a number of Serie A clubs but the management have a plan regarding his future, a report claims.

Colombo’s future is attracting some intrigue given that he has just returned from a loan spell at Lecce – his first in Serie A – in which he netted six goals including the one that preserved their top flight status.

According to the latest from Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Colombo will remain at Milan until the new striker arrives, with the arrival of a centre-forward not currently imminent despite the many links.

Only then will Milan listen to offers for the 21-year-old, but there are four teams that have come forward to express an interest: Genoa, Lecce, Frosinone and Verona.

All four are ready to take him on loan and at the moment the preference seems to be the latter option because he would reunite with Marco Baroni again at Verona, who was his coach at Lecce last season.
