Patrick Dorgu has been on the radar of several big Italian clubs for quite some time now, and fuel has been added to the fire. Following yesterday’s game, Antonio Conte was caught on camera.

Napoli prevailed 1-0 against Lecce thanks to the goal by Giovanni Di Lorenzo, sending them five points clear at the top of the standings. After the full-time whistle, Conte went straight to the middle of the pitch and embraced Dorgu, sharing a few well-chosen words.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, even though Dorgu just renewed his contract, Napoli are keeping a close eye on Dorgu’s situation. In fact, they have been following him for quite some time just like Milan, who remain in the race even if negotiations never have taken off.

Dorgu’s valuation is constantly rising and this is making things difficult for Milan, who have eyed the versatile player as a potential replacement/deputy for Theo Hernandez. Napoli see him as a perfect addition for the left-hand side, alternating with Leonardo Spinazzola, and the race with the Rossoneri is underway.

It remains to be seen what will happen, but it’s clear that Dorgu has attracted a lot of interest. A transfer is thus bound to happen in the summer.
