As reported by ESPN, AZ Alkmaar technical director Max Huiberts has revealed that there is a ‘good chance’ that Vangelis Pavlidis will leave the club this summer. With just one year left on his contract, the striker is unlikely to remain given that there will be plenty of interest from elsewhere in acquiring his services.

The 25-year-old Greek forward finished joint top scorer in the Eredivisie with 29 goals, matching the tally of PSV forward Luuk de Jong. Overall Pavlidis has scored an impressive 80 goals in 137 appearances for the side since he joined in the summer of 2021. Prior to that he was with VFL Bochum but only managed four games before moving to Willem II. Over the course of his time with the Dutch side he grabbed 33 goals in 82 games.
