The Nerazzurri must cope without Yann Bisseck, Hakan Calhanoglu, Denzel Dumfries, Davide Frattesi, Marcus Thuram and Piotr Zielinski.

Cristian Chivu’s men were held to a 1-1 draw by Mexican side Monterrey in their opening Club World Cup game earlier this week.

Italian sources, including Tuttosport and Gazzetta, claim that Stefan de Vrij will get the nod in central defence, replacing Francesco Acerbi, while Benjamin Pavard and Alessandro Bastoni are confirmed in a three-man defence.

Federico Dimarco and Carlos Augusto battle for a starting spot on the left flank and the same is true of Nicola Zalewski and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the middle of the park.

If Zalewski starts, then the Inter line-up will likely be a 3-4-2-1 formation with the Poland international joining Pio Esposito behind the lone striker Lautaro Martinez.
