It's time for the quarter-final matches in the 2025 Club World Cup.
The race for the title promises to be fiercely contested, even though Europe, with five clubs in the mix, is widely seen as the overwhelming favorite.
Africa boasts 12 representatives at this stage, with no fewer than 7 Moroccans: Achraf Hakimi (Paris Saint-Germain), Youssef Enríquez and Brahim Diaz (Real Madrid), Yassine Bounou and Abderrazak Hamdallah (Al Hilal), Adam Aznou (Bayern Munich), and Aymen Azhil (Borussia Dortmund).
Senegal, meanwhile, will have two players in the quarter-finals: defender Khalidou Koulibaly (Al Hilal) and Nicolas Jackson (Chelsea). Algeria is also sending two representatives: Rami Bensebaini and Elias Ben Kara (Borussia Dortmund).
Finally, Guinea will have an ambassador in Serhou Guirassy (Borussia Dortmund).
