Club-to-club talks finally confirmed: Chelsea getting much closer to confirming new signing | OneFootball

Club-to-club talks have finally been confirmed as the media play catch up on one major Chelsea transfer deal this week.

It was confirmed to me by my sources at SPTC that Chelsea opened talks with RB Leipzig regarding a move to sign Xavi Simons on Monday just gone, despite most media outlets claiming no talks had started other than on the player side. I can tell you, they started on Monday.

Yesterday, Sky in Germany were still claiming that there had been no club-to-club talks between Leipzig and Chelsea for Simons. But today, they are now reporting that there WAS club-to-club talks between the two clubs YESTERDAY! So which is it, fellas!?

There has so obviously been club-to-club talks already at the start of the week and you know what? It might have even been before Monday.

I think this is further along than the media know about and Chelsea have tried to keep a lid on it.

Reliable insider The Secret Scout is even reporting that Simons WILL be joining Chelsea and for him to say this, the deal is obviously now VERY advanced on all sides of the deal and has been for some time.

It’s pretty clear now that Simons will be joining Chelsea. It seems like it is just a matter of when and not if at this point.

Things are certainly going on at this club now, and they even look like they might now be close to selling Joao Felix this window as well, something that we thought might be quite a tough deal to do.

Chelsea still have many more outgoings to get done, but they seem to be working hard on getting it all done now as well as some more new arrivals too.
