Turkish outfit Goztepe are confident about completing the transfer of Southampton striker Paul Onuachu by the end of this week.
Saints had an eventful transfer window and they are still offloading players to countries where transfer windows are open.
Anderlecht have found an agreement with Southampton to take young forward Samuel Edozie on loan with an option to buy.
Onuachu has been very heavily linked with multiple Turkish clubs regarding a move away this summer but so far nothing has materialised, despite Trabzonspor chasing him persistently.
Russell Martin does not see Onuachu as a part of his plans and Saints are willing to move him on.
According to Turkish daily Star, Super Lig outfit Goztepe, Southampton’s sister club, are looking to complete Onuachu’s swoop by the end of this week.
Trabzonspor wanted to sign the Saints man after he had a brilliant season with them on loan last season but they could not reach an agreement for the striker.
If Goztepe are able to sign Onuachu, he will be their second transfer from Southampton this summer after goalkeeper Mateusz Lis.
