Club Brugge coach Nicky Hayen admits Ardon Jashari ‘wants’ a move and ‘things will become clear soon,’ but also warns Milan that ‘anyone who wants him has to meet our demands.’
The midfielder had skipped the new season photographs and summer friendly matches, but could be back in the squad for this weekend’s opening match against Racing Genk.
Although he has been training with the team again for two days, there continue to be reports the player is unhappy at the lack of progress in negotiations.

“Look, we can’t do anything about that,” said coach Hayen in today’s press conference.
“What happens above our heads is beyond our control. I’m not getting worked up about this situation. This is how football works. Ardon has a contract until 2029, and the club has made its demands clear. Anyone who wants him has to meet our demands.
“Then there is what the player wants, and that is where the difficulties lie… Anyway, things will become clear soon.”
This may have been a reference to reports late last night that Milan are preparing a new and improved offer for Jashari.
The overall figure will remain the same, the difference is that now there are €35m guaranteed, with a smaller portion of the total €38m fee made up of bonuses.
Hayen was asked what would happen if Club Brugge rejected that bid too and Jashari reacted angrily?
“That all needs to be discussed. It depends on the status of the situation and what everyone wants.”
