Club América are reportedly set to offer goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa a new contract to stay with the Mexican giant.
That’s according to ESPN who state that Los Azul-Cremas a new two-year deal will be tabled, warding off interest from MLS and European sides.
The 37-year-old’s contract is set to expire after the World Cup – where Ochoa is expected to play a big part for Mexico – but ESPN have reported that a deal between the player and América is already in place.
Ochoa rejoined Las Águilas in 2019 after eight years away from the club and has featured 424 times for the club, keeping 120 clean sheets.
