In the last few days, América have been linked to an ambitious move for Inter Milan’s Arturo Vidal, who has just one year remaining on his current deal.

The 34-year-old made 30 appearances for the Serie A champions last season but now faces an uncertain future.

According to journalist Josh Mendoza, King Arturo could come to reinforce Santiago Solari’s team but the Chilean midfielder is considered América’s ‘Plan B’ in case their first option does not materialise.

Vidal has previously stated that he would love to play for América one day and has not left Europe since joining Bayer Leverkusen from Colo Colo in 2007.

Vidal missed the last 12 games of Inter Milan’s season after undergoing knee surgery.
