MIAMI – The 2024/25 Concacaf W Champions Cup Finals continues with Club América Femenil and Portland Thorns FC meeting in the Third Place Match on Saturday at the Estadio Universitario in San Nicolás de los Garza, Nuevo León, Mexico.

América will take the pitch one more time at El Volcán after falling 3-1 to NJ/NY Gotham FC in the Semifinals on Wednesday. Irene Guerrero struck the lone goal of the night for Las Águilas.

The two-time Liga MX Femenil winners seek to leave with the bronze medal. Players like Montserrat Saldivar and Sarah Luebbert will be key players for the current Liga MX Femenil runners-up.

Portland Thorns FC fell in its semifinal tie, 2-nil, loss againgst Tigres UANL Femenil. The likes of Olivia Moultrie, Sam Coffey and Deyna Castellanosa will seek to help the three-time NWSL champions leave with a victory.
