Club América finally announced their final foreign reinforcement, filling a major void at right-winger that has been open for quite some time.
On Wednesday, the Eagles officially signed Juan Otero, who arrives at the direct request of manager Santiago Solari.
Otero has signed a three-year deal and arrives as a permanent transfer from Santos Laguna.
The 26-year-old has experience at various clubs, including Deportivo La Coruña, Estudiantes de La Plata (Argentina), and Ligue 1 side Amiens.
The Colombian was not América’s first choice at right-wing, coming to the Estadio Azteca after failed negotiations for Brian Ocampo, Pablo Solari, and Paul Arriola.
