Club América linked with Chivas star Alexis Vega | OneFootball

América has been linked with a swap deal involving both Sebastián Córdova and Chivas star Uriel Antuna and now the Eagles are said to be keen on another Chivas star.

According to Récord and Mediotiempo’s Raymundo González, through his Twitter account, Santiago Solari is not interested in receiving Antuna in that swap deal but has given the green light if Chivas were to give up Alexis Vega.

América are looking to take advantage of Vega’s contract, which expires next June and renewal talks with the Flock do not seem to be progressing.

However, after seeing the chemistry between Córdova and Vega during the Tokyo Olympics, Chivas are said to be dreaming about the two working together next season.

Despite Vega’s fantastic performance at the Olympics, he was unable to replicate his performances in the league, picking up just one assist in nine appearances while dealing with an ankle injury.
