An incredible second-half performance allowed the Eagles to come-from-behind and defeat Pachuca 5-2.

Nicolås Benedetti scored his first América goal since his arrival from Colombia, while Henry Martín and Roger Martínez each scored second-half braces.

With the victory, AmĂ©rica will potentially face rivals Chivas in a SĂșper ClĂĄsico quarter-final, should the Goats beat second-division side AtlĂ©tico San Luis on Wednesday night.

In the 21st minute, Benedetti scored his first goal in an América shirt with a nicely-timed header.

However, just five minutes later, Pachuca would find themselves in front after a pair of quick-fire goals through Roberto de la Rosa and former Leicester City striker Leonardo Ulloa.

In the second half, it was all América as they would fire four past Pachuca through Henry Martín and Roger Martínez.

Just after the whistle, Martín would equalise after a miraculous first touch set him free.

América would take the lead less than 10 minutes later as Martín made it six goals in 12 games in all competitions this season.

Six minutes later, Roger Martínez scored the goal of the night with a fantastic strike into the top corner.

MartĂnez closed out the match with his second goal of the game in the 90th minute.
