Celta Vigo have confirmed that Claudio Giráldez has extended his stay with the club.
Giráldez initially succeeded Rafael Benítez at Balaídos and penned a short-term deal which was due to expire at the end of this season.
But the 36-year-old has now agreed fresh terms with Los Celestes which safeguards his future as head coach until summer 2027.
Since taking the reins, Giráldez has produced several statement wins over the likes of Athletic Club, Valencia and Sevilla.
Celta sit ninth in LaLiga ahead of entertaining Real Madrid on Saturday.
