Claude Makelele is ready to leave Chelsea.

Makelele has declared his aim to become Congo's national coach.

He was born in the African country before moving to France. The Chelsea legend currently works as part of the club's loan and scouting team.

He told Canal Plus: "Speaking personally, I feel ready to manage the DRC national team.

"We all need to sit down together in order to restructure football in the Democratic Republic of Congo."
