All the information you need to keep across City’s four fixtures against Chelsea in March.
Gareth Taylor’s side lock horns with the Londoners in three separate competitions across a two-week period.
That includes a League Cup final, an Etihad blockbuster and a two-legged UEFA Women’s Champions League last eight showdown.
The four fixtures will also be played at four different stadiums, with the below guide designed to keep you across all the key information and explain the significance of each tie.
Our quadruple-header begins at Derby County’s Pride Park, with a first piece of silverware this season up for grabs.
City lock horns with Chelsea at 12:15 (UK) on Saturday 15 March in the League Cup final, aiming to win the trophy for the first time since 2022.
We’ve overcome both Manchester United and Arsenal en route to the final having entered the competition at the last eight stage, alongside the Blues.
It’s also a rerun of the 2022 final, which saw Gareth Taylor’s side come from behind to beat Chelsea 3-1 at Plough Lane.
A special Matchday Live show, featuring analysis from Karen Bardsley and Steve Howey, can also be accessed across our digital platforms alongside our usual comprehensive app coverage.
Ticket and travel information for the final can be accessed here.
Just four days later, attention turns to the UEFA Women’s Champions League and the first leg of our last eight tie.
City welcome Chelsea to the Joie Stadium for this one, with kick-off set for 20:00 (UK).
It’s our first Champions League knockout tie since 2021, when we faced FC Barcelona at this stage of the competition.
We qualified for the quarter-finals by finishing second in Group D, behind reigning champions Barca on goal difference, while Chelsea topped Group B.
The two sides have plenty of history battling for top honours on a domestic setting, but now that saga continues on a European stage for the very first time.
It’s not to be missed, with ticket information available here.
The following weekend, City and Chelsea make the short journey over to the Etihad Stadium for our WSL showdown.
Kick-off is set for 14:30 on Sunday 23 March as the Blues aim to close the gap on Sonia Bompastor’s side, who currently sit top of the table.
Gareth Taylor’s side have already played twice at the Etihad this season, with an astonishing ten goals stretched across those two fixtures.
First, we beat Tottenham Hotspur 4-0 in November 2024, before a narrow 4-2 derby defeat to Manchester United in January.
But now, City have the opportunity to get back to winning ways at the Etihad on what’s sure to be an incredible occasion packed with plenty of action and activities outside of the football.
Once again, a special Matchday Live show can also be enjoyed before, during and after the action, with Karen Bardsley and Toni Duggan your punditry team from the Etihad.
