The star striker is shown in illustration form on the front of Sunday’s edition in the familiar meditative celebration pose he often adopts.

It was created by highly-respected creative, Dave Flanagan, who is designing all our Premier League covers across the 2023/24 campaign.

Inside the pages, meanwhile, we have plenty for you to get your teeth into.

The main interview is Matheus Nunes as he discusses his summer move to City, his admiration for boss Pep Guardiola, why he loves playing for the Treble winners as well as an analysis of his own game.

We have plenty of news from around the club in our ‘In the City’ section, with updates on the Holy Trinity statue, the 35th anniversary of the women’s team and information on this weekend’s Rainbow Laces activation.

Elsewhere, we have one-off features on a new book called ‘To the Blue Moon and Back’ by Nigel Gregory and the fond farewell of popular fanzine, ‘King of the Kippax’.

We look back at ‘How the Treble Was Won’ as we flashback to our glorious 2022/23 campaign while Dr Gary James heads back to 2018/19 in his ‘City Reflections’ column.

1990s ace Terry Phelan tells us all about ‘My Maine Game’ while Julian Alvarez and Son Heung-min go ‘Head to Head’.

There’s the usual popular features, too, like Pep Guardiola’s manager notes, the thoughts of Mike Summerbee in his ‘Buzzword’ column as he reflects on his statue, as well as match reports and opposition spotlight to name a few.

Make sure you get your hands on the official matchday programme, which costs £4, because it really is the perfect way to get you in the mood for the big game.

As well as being available for purchase at the ground, supporters who may not be able to attend the game can also order it online.

What’s more, fans will also be able to order a programme subscription.
