PREVIOUS MEETING

Gabriel Jesus was the match winner last time we faced Sheffield United in a 1-0 victory in January 2021.

The Brazilian’s well-taken close range strike inside 10 minutes was enough to secure three points at the Etihad Stadium.

And the victory also signalled Guardiola’s 500th success as a manager as we went on to lift the 2020/21 Premier League crown at the season’s end.

LAST TIME OUT

City secured passage into the UEFA Champions League semi-final with a 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich last time out.

Following our 3-0 victory in the first leg, the stalemate saw us advance 4-1 on aggregate at the Allianz Arena.

Erling Haaland opened the scoring before Joshua Kimmich's penalty levelled the scores in Germany.
