PREVIOUS MEETING

City and Real Madrid played out an exhilarating 3-3 draw in the first leg at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Bernardo Silva fired the visitors into the lead inside two minutes before Carlo Ancelotti’s side flipped the match on its head through a Ruben Dias own goal and a deflected prod from Rodrygo.

The Blues enjoyed the better of the second half and superb goals from Phil Foden and Josko Gvardiol restored our advantage.

But Federico Valverde’s well-taken volley rescued a draw as we extended our unbeaten run in the Champions League to 22 matches.

LAST TIME OUT

In our previous outing, City recorded an emphatic 5-1 Premier League win over Luton Town at the Etihad Stadium.

A fortuitous early own goal inside two minutes gave the hosts the perfect start before further goals from Mateo Kovacic, Erling Haaland, Jeremy Doku and Josko Gvardiol secured three precious points.
