Victory for Pep Guardiola's men would crown us champions for a second successive year, while a draw or narrow defeat would also be enough provided Liverpool fail to beat Wolves in their final match of the campaign.

However, with just one defeat in their last five matches, the visitors are not to be taken lightly in our 16:00 (UK) kick-off.

And with the season drawing to a close, getting those all-important selection decisions right could prove the difference for FPL managers around the world.

Thankfully, the Scout is on hand once again to help provide some pointers ahead of what is sure to be a thrilling Premier League finale.

City star

Raheem Sterling (£10.5m) could prove the ultimate differential in Gameweek 38 of Fantasy Premier League as Manchester City look to clinch the title with a win over Aston Villa.

After being rested against West Ham United last weekend, the winger can be found in only 2.3% of squads ahead of Sunday’s 14:30 BST deadline.

Sterling collected 28 points in Man City’s two matches in Double Gameweek 36, scoring three goals and supplying an assist.

Indeed, he has returned double-figure hauls in three of his last six appearances, claiming 46 points.

The underlying numbers further highlight Sterling’s influence on Pep Guardiola’s attack.

His seven big chances in his last six matches is a team-leading total, while his 10 shots in the box and 10 key passes both place second.

Opponent to watch

Ollie Watkins (£7.5m) is the visitors’ form attacker, scoring in three of Villa’s last five fixtures.

His totals of 19 shots and 18 shots in the box are both placed among the top two players in that time.

Other Premier League Pick

Elsewhere, Son Heung-min (£11.2m) and Jamie Vardy (£10.3m) are among the top armband contenders for the final Gameweek of 2021/22.

Tottenham Hotspur’s Son visits Norwich City on the back of 10 goals and three assists in his last nine outings.

Vardy has scored twice and earned 13 points in two of his previous three ahead of Leicester City’s home encounter with Southampton.
