Earlier this season Cisse Sandra started from kickoff for the first time in the Cup match against Deinze. Now it was the first time that he was part of the starting eleven in a regular league match. The 17-year-old thanked his coach for the confidence with a very strong performance and a beautiful goal just before halftime.

"I saw Charles De Ketelaere going deep and Bas Dost running towards target. I scored in one time with my best foot. I am very satisfied and I was happy to start from kickoff. A fantastic feeling. It was my debut in the regular league after the Supercup and the Cup match against Deinze. However, it is a pity that we also had to concede two goals. We created difficulties for ourselves but luckily we still keep the three points home. I was a bit nervous in the beginning and had to adapt. The longer the match lasted, the better things went. I started on the right wing and was allowed to move to the centre. My best position is as attacking midfielder." (KN)
