FC Cincinnati have pulled off a superb comeback against NYCFC in the Leagues Cup this evening, scoring four goals in 10 minutes to stun the Bronx outfit after they lead 2-0 for most of the second-half.
Despite it being a Monday night showdown between two teams that were already qualified for the knockout rounds, it was an electric affair at TQL, and the final 15 minutes of the match won't be forgotten in Cincinnati for a long while.
After NYCFC held a 2-0 lead past the hour mark thanks to goals from Santi Rodríguez and Jovan Mijatović, the hosts turned things around stunning style after a few super-subs entered the match.
Upon the arrival Pavel Bucho, Yuya Kubo, and Yamil Asad, Cincinnati scored four goals 10 minutes to turn the game around stun the visitors.
After Bucha started the scoring train, Asad joined his fellow substitute by reclaiming parity on the night only two minutes later.
Then, just five minutes after Asad's leveler, Yuya Kubo joined the party to snatch the lead in style, while Sergio Santos put the game to bed minutes later.
Four subs, four goals, and an unforgettable night at TQL. That will get the people going!
