Samuel Chukwueze made an impact off the bench and wants more wins in the next games.

After scoring the winner against Udinese in the league on Saturday, last night Chukwueze made the difference again, as he and Noah Okafor came off the bench to assist 2 goals to Tijjani Reijnders, which won the game against Club Brugge for the Rossoneri in the Champions League (3-1).

“We’re here, we’re trying to get onto the pitch and make our contribution in the time we have available. We gave the team extra energy, both Noah and I,” the Nigerian told Sky Italia.

Speaking to MilanTV, Samu said: “I think it’s a great moment to have this kind of confidence to play. It has been a very difficult month. I think playing like this and having the confidence to score in the last game and make an assist today is a good feeling. I hope I’ll continue like this.”

On first points this season in the Champions League: “I think it’s very, very important for the team and for everything in the Club. We played the first 2 games and we lost, and today we won. I think it’s very good to good to qualify for the next stage. I think winning this game and winning the other ones to finish at the top of the table is very important for us.

On the next Champions League game against Real Madrid: “Winning against Real Madrid would be very important for us to get 6 points on the table. I think the most important thing is to focus on the next Serie A game, to be well in the standings. For now, we have to focus on Bologna and then maybe we’ll focus on the Champions League and Madrid.”
