On Tuesday Paris Saint-Germain made it official: Christophe Galtier will replace Mauricio Pochettino as coach at the reigning Ligue 1 Uber Eats champions for the next two seasons.

It's official: Christophe Galtier is the new coach of Paris Saint-Germain. On Tuesday, the capital club presented the former OGC Nice coach, who has signed on for two seasons and will replace Argentine coach Mauricio Pochettino, to the press. At 55, the former player is taking the next step in his coaching career. After a spell on the bench at AS Saint-Etienne between 2009 and 2017 - during which he won the Coupe de la Ligue - he was crowned French champion with LOSC in 2021. Last season he was at the helm of OGC Nice, who finished fifth in the league and reached the Coupe de France final. In his career, he has been voted Ligue 1 Uber Eats Coach of the Year at the UNFP Trophies three times - in 2013, 2019 and 2021.
